AJOWA POP UP RESTAURANT
Ajowa ‘we came together’ is a depiction of who we are as a nation, Nigeria. Our literal coming together at the amalgamation of 1914 and the creation of an independent nation in 1960 brought together so many diverse people and cultures.
Togetherness is more than simply being brought together, but it is about intentionally choosing each other.
In our Nigeria of today where there is so much violence, confusion and helplessness, Ajowa is a gesture that tells of the beauty of our unity. Every dish of this menu draws inspiration from different parts of our nation, showing the beauty of our shared culture and identity as Nigerians.
