ATIJE POP UP RESTAURANT

This time last year, we won in a competition aimed at finding the next restaurateur in Nigeria called 'The Kitchen Nigeria.'

It was an opportunity for us to put the ‘Atije’ concept to a test, and it was a great success. We put our heart and soul into the menu and we have decided to bring it back to share the experience with you once again!

The Atije menu draws inspiration from all over Nigeria, creatively juxtaposing the diversity of cuisine and alongside our stories.

The Kitchen Nigeria is currently airing on YouTube.. Tune in to see how the competition unfolds!

AJOWA POP UP RESTAURANT

Ajowa ‘we came together’ is a depiction of who we are as a nation, Nigeria. Our literal coming together at the amalgamation of 1914 and the creation of an independent nation in 1960 brought together so many diverse people and cultures.

Togetherness is more than simply being brought together, but it is about intentionally choosing each other.

In our Nigeria of today where there is so much violence, confusion and helplessness, Ajowa is a gesture that tells of the beauty of our unity.  Every dish of this menu draws inspiration from different parts of our nation, showing the beauty of our shared culture and identity as Nigerians.

ASIRI POP UP RESTAURANT

Asiri means secret in Yoruba and Hausa. It also means gossip in Igbo.

"Our soups are some of the best-kept secrets in the world. While the rest of the world has gone on and on about their cuisines, we have remained mute, with our mouths full of food"

-Yemisi Aribisala, Longthroat Memoirs.
